DAY 13 – FIZ, CHOP, WEIGHT
November 18, 2007, 9:53 pm

Another weekend….

Been quite active actually, very diet heavy.

SATURDAY:

I decided to try an experiment, put my will power to the test. Shopping. The only thing I have entered a super market for in the last two weeks was for some tobasco sauce (which according to the Internet is allowed) for the soups….. but today, I went on a weekly shop with Mum to the haaauuggge ASDA in Havant. Walk in the door, and you are immediately greeted with a cafe full of tasty goodies… didn’t blink an eyelid… then proceded past the bakery full of warm bread and then the cooked chicken/ribs/other stuff counter…. was fine…. The only section where my will power fell to hardly nothing… was the electronics section.

I headed over the the George clothes bit, where for the first time in a long time I was able to actually try on stuff that fit me! … the temptation not to buy any new clothes was strong, but I want to buy even smaller clothes.

Loads more wood needed to be split this weekend for the log burner that heats out house… that must have burnt about 700 calories… knackered me out a treat.

Just out of interest, I have just tried some clothes on from the back of the wardrobe that last fit me in the summer of 2005…. and they fit even BETTER than they did then, and I HAVEN”T EVEN FINISHED WEEK 2!!!!!

DAY 10 – NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH

Sorry again ladies and gents for the lack of posts, but not much has happened!

Got my second lot of Cambridge goodies – Love them!

People are already commenting on the weight loss, this thing is incredible!

This winter being particularly cold, I’ve put off buying a coat because I look like fool trying on coats in shops. Out of interest, I dug outa couple of jackets that havn’t fit for a year or two to try them on. One of them fit quite nicely *ALREADY* and the other, I couldn’t do the buttons up. So.. mum very kindly took it to the dry cleaners for me. 3 Days later, it comes back… and the buttons do up!

Yesterday at work we had a “Strategy Day” which involved being locked in a board room and talking about what needs to be done in the IT department for the next year.  Lunch time rolled around, and the company had Marks and Spencer deliver a massive lunch platter which looked and smelt gorgeous.  Normally on a diet.. i would have just gone “ahh one sarnie/scotch egg won’t hurt”… but I didn’t, I happily  slurped away on my Chicken Cambridge soup whilst the others munched away… and it felt fantastic. Of course the only draw back of being in meetings all day and the amount of water being consumed results in grandad-esque trips to the toilet.

Also looking at Gyms to join… I figure visits to the gym will start building muscle ready for when the weight goes and kick this diet into hyperdrive!
